Infants

Infants
Social skills: We provide infants with age appropriate toys that encourage exploration and interaction between other children and adults. Caregivers become role models by imitating expressions and gestures of the infants.
Cognitive skills: We provide infants with opportunities to explore their environment through various sensory activities. Caregivers encourage sensory motor play based on infants interest and involvement. Infants gain new knowledge through play.
Emotional skills: We provide individualized attention to encourage a positive relationship. Caregiver and infant interactions are pleasant, use frequent eye contact, talk in a calm voice, and use gentle, supportive responses that develop trust in infants.
Physical skills: We provide infants a safe, sensitive, and pleasing arrangement of learning areas to enhance gross and fine motor skills.
